The seventh China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Exhibition held on April, 3-5, 2007, got an attendance of 629 famous companies participating from 33 countries and regions around the world, 11 national pavilions including: USA, Germany, France, Russia, Italy, UK, Denmark, The Netherlands, Iran, Japan, Singapore, exhibitors including 26 of the top 500 Global corporations, such as GE, Siemens, GAZPROM, ABB, Tyco, UTC, 3M, Dresser, Honeywell, Emerson, Stewart & Stevenson, Cummins Power Generation, Ingersoll Rand, Atlas Copco, HITACHI, Toshiba Mitsubishi Electric Industrial, and some famous Chinese companies: CNOOC, CNPC Daqing, Liaohe Petroleum, Beijing Petroleum Machinery Factory, Shengli Highland, RG Petro-Machinery, Chuanyou Guanghan Honghua, Shandong KERUI, Yantai Jereh, SJS, Zhongcheng Machinery, Tianjin Lilin, Bao Steel, Mingxing Cable, Warom Group, etc. Cippe has been the largest and premier petroleum and petrochemical exhibition in Asia.

Cippe, a great gathering for 3 days, attracted more than 30,000 professional visitors from 42 countries, and about 112 medias from 37 countries and regions home and abroad as well. The satellite events involve China Oil & Gas Pipelines Summit 2007、China offshore Summit, Offshore and Onshore Oil and Gas Advanced Technologies Seminar.

Cippe, with 31,000 square meters exhibiting area, 11 nation pavilions, taking up 45% of the exhibition area, 629 exhibitors from 33 countries in total, 26 are out of top 500 corporations, has made wide influence around the world, and been regarded as one of the top 5 petroleum and petrochemical exhibitions.

About 116 companies were unable to represent themselves at the show，such as SJ Petroleum Machinery, ZYT Petroleum Equipment , Caterpillar, CEEG. A lot more had limited access to the exhibition area due to space constraints, e.g., Siemens, Gazprom, Ingersoll Rand, BPM, RG Petro-Machinery. Zhenwei will relocate next year's show Cippe2008, which will run from April 7 through 9, to New China International Exhibition Center, one of the largest exhibition halls in China. It is expected that the exhibiting space will be 42,000 square meters. Till now, more than 240 enterprises have reserved the exhibiting space for the next session.
