Xie Yongjin: JHPA to Creat World Brand in China with CIPPE
The 8th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CIPPE 2008 Zhenwei International Oil Exhibition) will be held in the New China International Exhibition Center, Beijing (Tianzhu CBD airport city, Shunyi District, Beijing, China) on April 7 - 9, 2008. According to the Organizer,Jianghan Petroleum Administration Bureau Sinopec Group have already signed the standard booth of 998 square meters. It is the largest booth of the exhibition in mainland China. Such a big act! why? Here is the latest news from a Petroleum & Equipment reporter interviewing Mr. Xie Yong Jin, deputy director general of Jianghan Petroleum Administration Bureau.
Jianghan Oilfield (JHPA) is the base of mechanical equipment in oil drilling & production of Sinopec Group. It is currently the largest petroleum mechanical manufacturing and exporting base in China, with four subsidiary enterprises including Kingdream Public Limited Company, SJ Petroleum Machinery Co., No.3 Petroleum Machinery Plant of Jianghan Petroleum Administration Bureau (JHPA) and JHPA Steel Pipe Plant mainly produce Oil Well Drilling Bits, the Series Equipment of Cementing and Fracturing, Series of Truck-mounted Drilling Rigs and Automotive Drilling Rigs, Workover Rig, Steel Pipes and Natural Gas Compressors etc.￣ Xie Said, ＾The Bureau gradually possesses proprietary intellectual property rights, while basing on introducing foreign advanced technology and enhancing innovative R&D. Up to now, we have possessed 190 patents and 30 proprietary technologies. The edge-cutting product technologies meet the advanced standards both on the domestic and global levels, while the superior products are sold in distant markets around more than 20 countries and areas, such as U.S.A., Canada, Mexico and Russia etc.￣
＾Jianghan machinery is the economic mainstay of Jianghan Oilfield. In 2007, Jianghan mechanical manufacturing provided 49.7 percent of the total revenue. From 2008 to 2013 (the twelfth five-year plan period), the Jianghan mechanical manufacturing base is expected to accomplish a goal of RMB10 billion yuan sales, of which 40-50% will be in markets abroad. " Xie told the reporter, ＾We must firstly establish a good marketing and service channel to integrate the agents of marketing and service. The service system should be built wherever the products are sold, additionally, it should be set up in the right place timely. This is an important part of brand building. We have to do more to publicize our brand. Through the 2008 CIPPE, we further promote not only the Jianghan mechanical manufacturing, but also our brand. For the first time we participate in CIPPE, we also hope to meet more foreign and domestic professionals and communicate effectively with each other. "
According to the reporter, with 7 sessions have successfully held since 2001, CIPPE has become the largest petroleum show in Asia and one of the top-5 petroleum exhibitions in the world. The cippe2008 will bring together the most advanced technologies and equipments of international Oil & Gas and Petroleum & Petrochemical Industry, including Chinese self-innovative and own-brand petroleum equipments and technologies. So far, there are 12 national pavilions such as U.S.A, Germany and France etc. From 35 countries and regions, there are more than 800 exhibitors, among which 31 are in the world¨s top-500, such as GAZPROM, SIMENS, GE,ABB, TYCO, 3M, HONEYWELL, EMERSON, FMC, E+H, ATLAS COPCO, NSK, FLOWSERVE, SAMSUNG and HPS etc. There are also many well-known domestic exhibitors such as China National Offshore Oil Corp., China Petro-chemical International Co.,Ltd. and Jianghan Petroleum Administration Bureau Sinopec Group etc. The 3-day¨s show of the 8th CIPPE will be a great event of petroleum & petrochemical.
